At GIS Ltd we take our responsibility to the environment very seriously, and are committed to producing documents that are environmentally sympathetic to print.

We take extra care in sourcing suppliers with ISO14001 accreditations, this gives you the confidence in knowing that your directory is printed using an integrated environment management policy through various business activities, with the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS).

Part of this also includes:

stock procurement from well managed forests, to include ECF/FSC/PEFC stock
using biodegradable vegetable/soya oil based inks instead of mineral/petroleum oil
using low alcohol or non-toxic based alcohol based solvents
using clever design layouts to take into consideration pagination
offering advice on distribution to keep wastage down to a minimum
